Frøy
Based on a bronze figurine of the Norse god, Freyr, a find from Rallinge, Sweden dating to the early 11th century, I created my own character and its expressions. Freyr is the male fertility god in the Norse mythology.
The making of Frøy
By using this ancient figurine as a model, I recreated Frøy by sketching his face with my own expression and interpretation. Then created a clay sculpture based on this, 3d scanned and colored it in vibrant colors. This 3d figure is used in virtual galleries, animated in videos and then also 3d printed and painted.
