Auðumbla
I am reimagining the creation of cosmos, where the first cow, Audumbla, was nourished by licking the salt of ice.
By doing so, she created and uncovered the gods within the ice, and in return they created the world. By using my bull terrier Isis as the main motive, with vibrant pop colors and inspired by the pop-culture icon Pokemon Lickitung, I am re-creating this mythic character.
Material: 3D scanned clay sculptures, 3D printed in plastic with paint, and resin ice-block.

The making of Auðumbla
I first made a clay sculpture of my bullterrier Isis. I then 3d scanned it, and added vibrant colored udders, horns, tongue and an ice block with the Norse Gods in a 3d application. I then animated these into videos, but also 3d printed the sculpture in large and small sizes.
