Thor
Based on a bronze figurine of the Norse god, Thor, a find from Azureyri, Iceland, dating to the 9th century, I created my version. The figurine depict Thor grasping his hammer Mjølnir.

The making of Thor
By using this ancient figurine as a model, I recreated Thor by sketching his face with my own expression and interpretation. Then created a clay sculpture based on this, 3d scanned and colored it in vibrant colors. This 3d figure is used in virtual galleries, animated in videos and then also 3d printed and painted.
